Roland, it’s interesting to hear your “One Omnisphere rack per song” approach - I may consider that myself to simplify my setup. One concern though is incurring sample load time between songs, and losing the benefit from sharing Omnisphere instances across songs. So I’ve been wondering whether to go for multiple Omnisphere instances running single patches, or fewer Omnisphere instances running multis, where I can switch sound by just switching MIDI channel. The problem with Omnisphere is that patches typically take a few seconds to load, so it’s not generally practical to switch patches mid-song. The reason I posted about Omnisphere was that it appeared to work fine with presets (pseudo-presets, actually, I believe), but I’ve recently seen that this doesn’t appear to be reliable (I posted about it here). The Native Instruments ones all required “Whole bank”, as far as I could see. As it turned out, I think just about all my plugins worked fine with presets / pseudo-presets, and in fact many (eg Diva, ImpOscar2, VB3) continued sounding held notes after the patch change, rather than muting. I actually went through all my plugins and tested to see how well they worked using Cantabile’s preset / pseudo-preset drop-down, and whether they required “Whole bank” state behaviour for changes. For that reason, I don’t try to use presets, pseudo-presets, or banks because I don’t understand how they work with Omnisphere well enough to trust the process during a live show. But since Omnisphere uses significant computer resources, I would be interested in hearing from people who do.ĭespite Brad’s excellent reply to another post, I am often unsure what exactly gets saved when I saved the Rack, and understand that it is different for each plugin. And if I need Omnisphere in another Rack (regardless of whether it’s in the same Song or SetList, or not), I use a new instance of Omnispere.ĭespite Brad’s excellent reply to another post, I am often unsure what exactly gets saved when I saved the Rack, and understand that it is different for each plugin. I don’t use the plugin’s abilities for keyboard splits and mappings I prefer to have all of that in Cantabile. Go back to Cantabile and save the Rack, and use it within a song.Go into the Omnisphere plugin (from Cantabile), either select an existing patch or create a new one, edit as needed, add additional patches onto other Parts (up to 8 in the Multi) as needed, and finally save the Multi.Create a new rack to contain this new “sound”. ![]() I do use Omnisphere with Cantabile, but I am probably not using it in a very efficient way. The Clerestory roof features 2 diagonal panels that stick next to each other. Just like the mono-pitched roof type, the clerestory roof only requires you to use purely slab materials. Building this roof type does not require you to make your box house, and you can just create it out of slab. Now, if you are pretty new to Minecraft and other roof designs that can be challenging for you to build, we suggest using the mono-pitched roof. Mono Pitched Roofs are built using slabs and placing them in a diagonal direction. One of the simplest no-brainer roof designs, the Mono Pitched Roof only requires you to cut half of the Clerestory roof situated above it. You can build the Gambrel using your collection of full blocks, stairs, and slabs. The Gambrel roof can usually be seen in a lot of medieval buildings, such as the farm or the tavern. Why? Cause it looks like the A-frame roof but also uses the attributes of the Gable roof. Just like the A-frame roof, Gambrel looks identical, but you may call it the Curved A roof.

The main influence was a combination of the SR’s Merchant Navy boiler and trailing wheels, combined with practices that kept weight in check, much like the Light Pacifics. However, when a request was put in for a Pacific locomotive that was capable of express passenger duties, as well as hauling freight, designers turned to the Southern Railway for inspiration. On the whole, designers favoured many features from the LMS locomotives, and as such, examples such as the BR Standard Class 4 and 5 heavily resembled the likes of Stanier’s famed Black 5. When the Big Four (LNER, LMS, GWR, SR) were nationalised in 1948 to form British Railways, a review was conducted on what existing locomotives were in need of replacement, and which proved to be the best basis for a brand new fleet that would cover until dieselisation.
